Former advisor to the RBZ governor Gideon Gono, Munyaradzi Kereke, who stood as a Zanu-PF candidate in Bikita West in defiance of the party’s directive to stand down in favour of the party’s preferred candidate Elias Musakwa, remains expelled from the party.
After Kereke’s defiance, Zanu-PF ended up fielding 2 candidates in the constituency and Kereke triumphed over Musakwa.
Zanu-PF spokesperson Rugare Gumbo on Friday said the party would take action against Kereke soon.
